I’ve said it many times before and I’ll gladly say it again, I love the LG Optimus G that we reviewed before earlier but sadly, by the time the device arrived in the Malaysian market, there already are better ones out there like all the flagship smartphones from other manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung and HTC. Fortunately, it looks like the latest smartphone from LG to date – the Optimus G Pro, will not suffer the same fate as its smaller sibling. At the on-going LG event in Macau, LG just announced that it will be bringing in the Optimus G Pro to Asia, Malaysia included, throughout the month of June.
“LG Optimus G Pro sets a new benchmark in the over 5-inch display smartphone category which is catching on with consumers everywhere who aren’t interested in owning both a phone and a tablet. Asian customers are leading many of today’s technology trends and we are confident Optimus G Pro will find a large following in this region.” – Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
The Optimus G Pro is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU on board. It features a large 5.5” 1080P Full HD IPS display with 400ppi. Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, and NFC connectivity. The Optimus G Pro also features the latest LG UX features like Dual Camera, Dual Recording, VR Panorama, Pause and Resume Recording, Smart Video and more.
Anyone looking forward to the LG Optimus G Pro’s launch in Malaysia?
