Taiwan Computex is just around the corner and it looks like there are already quite a number of exciting stuffs to look forward to, one of which is a partnership between Mozilla and Foxconn Technology group. Both companies recently sent out an invitation for an event dated on 3 June 2013 in Taipei, Taiwan, just days before the Taiwan Computex event. According to the invitation, Mozilla will be showing off some of its latest Firefox OS products.
About a month ago, Mozilla has already started the sales of its first smartphones, which were sold out almost immediately. Just weeks ago, Mozilla also started a program that gave away free phones to developers, to encourage them to start developing apps for Mozilla Firefox OS.
Unfortunately though, no further information has been revealed regarding this new partnership but a new product will be unveiled, hopefully a tablet device, that could possibly carry a Foxconn branding. Whatever it may be, we’ll find out in less than a week’s time.
