Not long after its release in Japan, the English version of Soul Sacrifice for PlayStation Vita has finally landed on the shelves throughout the world recently including in Malaysia. With that, the people at Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (SCEH, who are in-charge of all things PlayStation in our region) decided to celebrate the release of the game by having a community event for Soul Sacrifice specially for Malaysian gamers.
Taken place at the Sony Store in The Curve, similar event has also been held in Singapore shortly before Malaysia’s turn. Gamers – who registered through prior to the event – who came to the event were given a list of tasks that they need to complete inside Soul Sacrifice through the provided PlayStation Vita demo units or their own if they brought one themselves.
By completing the tasks, they were able to participate in a lucky draw that gave away a copy of the game as well as a brand new PlayStation Vita. The gamers were also treated to free food (always a good thing) as well as a discussion session with SCEH folks themselves on how the company can work to provide better experience for PlayStation fans and general gaming community in Malaysia.
Interestingly, SCEH folks have mentioned that they are planning to organize more PlayStation community event in Malaysia in the near future and hoping that more gamers will come over to hang out with them at these upcoming events. They are still working in getting the necessary arrangement in place though but nevertheless, it is something that gamers especially PlayStation fans out there should look forward to.
