As is usual with most global product launches, some marketing pitches never go past the drawing board. Others, like the “Windows 8 Training Camp” videos (featured above and after the jump), need only be published. The three-vide0 skits are brilliant: each video presents one particular feature of Windows 8 succinctly, with plenty of humour to boot.
These videos, according to Microsoft, were meant for the Asian markets – but to be honest, the ads would not have been lost on Western countries as well: not only are the characters speaking gibberish disguised in Pan-Asian accents, the videos are presented in a relaxed, easygoing manner that transcends cultures.
Too bad they were never officially published.
