I’m sure the 13MP camera on the Samsung Galaxy S4 can churn some pretty neat stuffs, but is it enough to compete with what Nokia has on its Lumia series and the Sony Honami that is rumored to have a Cyber-shot quality camera? According to some new rumors, Samsung is working on the Galaxy S4 Zoom, a 16MP camera phone that goes head to head with its strongest rivals.
Codenamed SM-C1010, the Galaxy S4 Zoom will feature a 16MP sensor that is possibly the same as the one found on the Galaxy Camera. As suggest by the name, the S4 Zoom should come with some awesome optical zoom capabilities like on the Galaxy Camera – 21x optical zoom with great image stabilization.
Don’t be fooled by the usage of S4 in its name though, the rumored specs suggest that the device will only pack some mid-range specifications like a 4.3” qHD Super Amoled display with 8GB of storage on board. Other specs include Android Jelly Bean operating system, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, and supports microSD of up to 64GB.
Anyone needs another Samsung device that has a humongous megapixel camera?
