I’m sure most of you have already tested out Google Now on your Android device. Last month, there was a leaked video about Google Now for iOS and now, it looks like Google might be delivering the “right information at just the right time” right to your desktop and on Google’s very own homepage at www.google.com.
According to the source code found in a page that is tested by Google, there are some Google Now content inside, introducing Google Now and allowing users to change their home, work and current location to receive relevant information like weather, traffic conditions and nearby places.
Nothing is confirmed of course, but if the final desktop version could look as good as the screenshot above that is taken off a Chrome extension developed by Google, I’d say, “yes please”. According to Google Operating System blog (unofficial news channel about Google), the search giant could also implement some of its old iGoogle features (iGoogle has been scheduled to be killed off by this November).
