As promised, DiGi is taking pre-orders from customers for the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 starting from today onwards. This usually means that the recommended retail price (RRP) of the device will also be revealed to the public and true enough, there it is on DiGi’s listing.
According to the telco, the RRP of Samsung Galaxy S4 is RM 2199 which is RM 100 lower than HTC One and equal to Sony Xperia Z – both being the closest competitor to the smartphone. Additionally, the Malaysian RRP for the device is much lower than Singapore’s which has been set at around RM 2450 (SGD 998). DiGi estimated that they will be able to deliver the smartphone to customers starting from the final week of April.
Of course, the device is available at much lower price if one purchases it together with telco contractual plan. Through DiGi, customers are able to obtain the Samsung Galaxy S4 from as low as RM 1199.
