Now that you’ve seen our little preview of Facebook Home on Android, are any iOS users here that are feeling a little envious of Android? Don’t be, according to Bloomberg, it looks like Facebook is talking to Apple about bringing Home to iPhones. Now, given how strict Apple is, don’t expect Facebook Home for iOS to be exactly like on Android.
Adam Mosseri, the Director of Product at Facebook, told Bloomberg that the social networking website is having an ongoing conversation about Facebook Home. He said:
“It may or may not be Home. We could also just bring some of the design values to the iOS app. That might be how it ends up. Or we could build just the lock screen. Maybe then it’s not called Home, it’s called something else.”
Facebook is also reported to be talking with Microsoft about Facebook Home too, showing its dedication in bringing the new Facebook experience to as many platforms as possible. How many of you here actually think that Facebook Home, on whatever platform, is a good idea?
