Earlier this morning, Twitter was reported to be working on a music service that is scheduled for today and it looks like the microblogging service is ready. The site music.twitter.com is now live and you’re free to click on the “Sign In” button and grant it access to your Twitter account. Unfortunately though, the real signing in part doesn’t work yet, once granted, you will be redirected back to the same page asking you to sign in but hey, I guess it won’t be too long before it opens up for real.
If you don’t already have enough music service apps on your smartphones, stay tuned and see what Twitter has got to offer. Twitter will not be a digital music store though, according to rumors, the most unique part of Twitter Music is its ability to suggest songs to you based on who you follow on Twitter. The listening part will be done using other third party apps like Soundcloud, iTunes and Vevo.
Stay tuned or check out Twitter Music’s front page if you don’t wish to wait any longer.
