We’ve seen the device not long after it was revealed at MWC’13 and we even managed to run a little benchmark on it. Now, it is time for the market to see device for real.
Powered by the new Intel Atom Z2420 (codenamed Lexington) system-on-chip processor, the new Asus FonePad will be made available from retailers starting from this week onwards with a price tag of RM 849. As expected, our market receives the APAC version of the device which comes with 8GB of internal storage and 3-megapixels rear camera.
An actual Intel Atom Z2420 vs. 10 sen coin.
While it might cost more than what we’ve heard at MWC’13, it is still way cheaper than the Acer Liquid C1 smartphone which is powered by the same processor. Hmmm.
