While HTC First might be the first device to come preloaded with the new Facebook Home launcher for Android devices, it certainly will not be the only one. In order to help manufacturers and telcos deliver the best Facebook experience for their customers, the outfit has come out with the Facebook Home Program which essentially gives partners access to the company’s resources and guidelines.
At the unveiling of Facebook Home this morning, the company has also revealed quite a number of partners that already committed themselves to the program. The list include phone makers such as Alcatel One Touch, HTC (of course), Huawei, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony and ZTE as well as AT&T, EE, Orange and Qualcomm.
Out of these early partners, only HTC and Samsung will be offering Facebook Home to some of their devices right on the launcher’s release day on April 12. Nevertheless, there is no doubt to us that this program is going to ensure that Facebook Home will be heading to tons of Android devices out there as soon as possible especially with the fact that the program already able to attract tons of big names to sign up as partners right from the start.
