The Humble Bundle, famous among gamers for offering epic bargains on a set list of games while offering a significant portion of the proceeds to charity, is at it again. This time, the Humble Bundle has gotten an overhaul of sorts. While the previous Humble Bundle packages a set of at least six games for a minimum amount, and rewards higher payments with more goodies, the major change in the Humble Bundle lies in the name, where it is now called the Humble Weekly Sale.
As the name implies, the Humble Weekly Sale will now offer one game per week. In addition, the Humble Weekly Sale now adopts a Kickstarter-style tiered payment system, where those who donate higher amounts will receive more game-related goodies, such as DRM-free soundtrack (digital or CD) and other merchandise.
This week, the Humble Weekly Sale will offer the excellent but underrated action-RPG “Bastion”. Any donation below $1 will net you a DRM-free version of the game, while a minimum of $1 is required to get a Steam key for the game. Donate the current average donation (currently $2.67) and you’ll net digital downloads of the DRM-free “Bastion” soundtrack, art pack, sheet music as well as ringtones. Donate $25 or more, and you’ll receive merchandise including a Bastion bandanna, soundtrack CD as well as Bastion postcards delivered to your door.
