For those who have held back on jumping on to BlackBerry 10 due to their lack of crucial apps such as WhatsApp and Instagram, here’s some pleasant news. While you can already sideload the Android apps (as well as the open-sourced OpenWhatsApp alternative), many still prefer native apps.
However, rumours of native versions of Instagram and WhatsApp have been circling around CrackBerry and other sites for some time now, and it looks like at least one of those rumours have come true. WhatsApp Inc. has added its massively popular WhatsApp messenger to BlackBerry World. Just like the versions for other platforms, the app is free for the first year, and costs $0.99 a year afterwards.
Head on to this link to download WhatsApp, or go to BlackBerry World via your BlackBerry Z10 to download it straight to your new phone.
