After all the anticipation it has finally come to this. We managed to get our hands on the BlackBerry Z10 for a review and even having played with it a few times before, it’s still quite exciting to use the next generation BlackBerry device as my own for the first time. The device is a departure from anything BlackBerry have come up with until now and is refreshing to say the least. The ridged exterior is matte plastic but doesn’t feel as cheap as some of the devices in the market today. Size wise, the Z10 fits the hand perfectly but for me perhaps its because of my sheer inexperience with the OS or perhaps it’s because of my toe-thumb that I find the peek gesture a little harder than I thought.

For some, the Z10 will be a little on the bulky side, not exactly hiding the fact that it has a little more pounds than some of the more svelte, curvy devices out there. What it lacks in trimness, it makes up for in design. The curves that it does have are sexy and serious all at the same time (think Olivia Munn in the Newsroom). So for now, here are some pictures of the Z10 to WHET your appetite before we can bring you the full review in a week’s time. Feel free to drop us a question in the comments or on twitter (@LowyatNET) and we’ll answer them as best we can!
