BlackBerry 10 hasn’t reached out shores quite yet but it has been banging around across the pond for about a month now. The early adopters were most definitely affected by teething problems with the new OS and it’s good to know that before it even comes out in Malaysia, many of them will be fixed by the update. The 150MB 10.0.10.85 update will be delivered OTA and is said to address the issues with the battery not holding up enough between charges as well as give over 60 other optimizations. The update will also improve the performance of 3rd party apps and improve the low-light ability of the camera. In-browser video playback, Gmail calendar integration, online contacts import as well as BlackBerry Hub call reporting will also be fixed.
The update is available on some carriers and will be rolled out completely in the coming weeks
