You wouldn’t think that CES 2013 would be the last you’ll hear of 4K Ultra HD did you? At the on-going MWC 2013, LG demonstrated its innovative Wireless UHD transmission technology for the first time, imagine being able to stream content from your smartphone to your UHD in real time; suddenly a smartphone with a 4K camera on board all makes sense now.
No further information have been revealed regarding how things works, LG just said that transmitting multimedia content from a smartphone to a TV is faster and smoother than previous mobile video compression and transfer systems, and that using ubiquitous Wi-Fi connections, things can be done with minimal power consumption as well.
