Recently, a customer support service website, Zendesk, has been hacked so boys and girls, you know what to do, again. In case you don’t know, Zendesk is a customer support for some pretty big companies and according to reports, information from Tumblr, Twitter and Pinterest have been compromised. Unlike the recent Facebook and Apple hack whereby the respective companies reported that no data have been stolen, user information like email, subject lines and email headers were compromised this time round.
According to Zendesk’s blog post, the company is currently working with law enforcement to determine the perpetrator of the attack. They have also informed their affected clients and are working with them to assist in their response.
Check out the full statement from Zendesk in this link and while I doubt that your password will be at risk, it’s always better to be safe. So far, Tumblr is the only affected company who has responded.
