Are you excited about the NVIDIA Tegra 4 mobile processor that was officially introduced last month during CES 2013, and can’t wait to finally see it in a device? You won’t have to wait too long for it because NVIDIA has just announced that it will be working with ZTE to bring the first NVIDIA Tegra 4 super phone by the middle of 2013, to the China market at least.
The upcoming mobile processor from NVIDIA will allow ZTE to create devices that have ultra-fast web browsing, improved app load time, more realistic gaming experiences and a greater battery life. Tegra 4 will also allow for worldwide 4G LTE voice and data support through an optional chipset. No further information has been revealed regarding the specific timeline, model number or specs; but hey, we only have to wait a couple of months more to see what super phones both companies can offer.
“We’re proud to continue our pioneering partnership with NVIDIA and are looking forward to offering more Tegra-powered devices, which are defining a new generation of phones offering premium mobile computing experiences. Our Tegra 4 smartphones will provide full HD entertainment and multimedia experiences that consumers will love.” – Mr. He Shiyou, ZTE EVP and Head of the Terminal Division.
