The name of this graphics card comes from a supercomputer that is powered by the same core that powers the graphics card and it is currently the most powerful single GPU graphics card that the company got to offer. Say hello to the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan.
Built using the same architecture as per the Titan supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory at United States, the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan might not be as fast as previously released GeForce GTX 680 (which runs at 1006MHz) but the GTX Titan comes with more GDDR5 RAM at 6GB with a wider 384-bit memory interface. Furthermore, there are 2688 CUDA Cores in GTX Titan as compared to 1536 CUDA Cores in GeForce GTX 680.
To be priced at around RM 3092 (USD 999), the new card will be made available from NVIDIA’s add-in card partners from 25 February onwards. More information for the GeForce GTX Titan are available over at www.nvidia.com.
