Now that we know that Samsung will not be announcing the successor to its Galaxy S III flagship smartphone in MWC 2013, when exactly will the Korean company unveil the Samsung Galaxy S IV? According to a Tweet by Eldar Murtazin, the founder of a Russian telecom website, Samsung will be taking the curtains off the much awaited device in New York City on 14 March 2013.
Murtazin didn’t mention a specific device though, his Tweet only said that there will be a big announcement on the date, but the Galaxy S IV was previously rumored to be announced on 15 March 2013, so it only make sense that he’s referring to the S IV. The Samsung Galaxy S IV is rumored to pack an Exynos 5 Octa 8-Core CPU, 8-Core GPU, 5” HD display, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear shooter, and Android 4.2.2 operating system.
