It looks like Huawei recently unveiled the Ascend G 615 in the German market, a 4.5” 720p device that packs a 1.4GHz quad-core processor behind its 330 ppi display, all for a price of 299euros. The G 615 features 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD slot, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front facing camera, and packs all the usual stuffs under the hood like HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and such.
Scheduled to hit the German market next month, the G 615 will ship with Android ICS out of the box but according to the company, the device will be updated to Jelly Bean at some point in March. While no information has been given as to when it’ll hit our Malaysian market, if ever, but news has it that it is headed for a few international markets in short order.
