It looks like most major TV manufacturers have some 4K TV actions going on at CES 2013 like LG and Toshiba, Sony just joined the crowd but unlike the typical 4K TV we’ve been reading about, it’s a 56” 4K OLED TV, the world’s first Ultra High Definition TV that uses Organic LED. If you think that 4K TVs are as good as it’s going get, wait till you see the OLED version in person, we definitely can’t wait. The prototype from Sony delivers all the features of an OLED TV such as high contrast, brightness, rapid video image response time and rich images produced even at wide viewing angles.
No further details have been revealed like the size, thickness, or any numbers at all, which is not shocking since it’s only a prototype, the company only mentioned that they plan on commercializing its new 4K OLED TV in the future, as well as launch 4K LCD TVs that are being showcased at the on-going electronics show in Las Vegas.
