Acting as the alternative to the standard wired connection, Astro earlier this week has announced the availability of Astro Wi-Fi Dongle for Astro B.yond PVR users. Through the dongle, users who previously having difficulties to hook up their Astro B.yond PVR box to the Internet via wired connection due to the location of their router or network port can now do it wirelessly.
Once the Astro B.yond PVR box is online using the new Astro Wi-Fi Dongle, users can then enjoy Astro’s Video On Demand (VOD) service – which is delivered via Internet – just like how users with wired connection did previously. The dongle can be obtained from Astro’s Customer Service for RM 110, or at a reduced price of RM 50 for Astro B.yond PVR subscribers with Super Pack.
