If the fancy luxury smartphones in the market like Vertu or even ones from Tag Heuer does not suit your taste, how about this one from Gresso that is made out entirely of solid titanium? Known for pimping up iPhones with luxurious stuffs such as diamonds, and for making premium feature phones like this, Gresso has decided to jump into the Android smartphone market to produce a mid-range Android device that is crafted entirely out of grade 5 solid titanium, with a price starting from USD$1,800.
Called the Gresso Radical R1, the basic device that costs USD$1,800 is made out of solid titanium but add USD$500 to that and you will be able to score a logo plate with white or yellow 18K gold. The Radical R1 has only 999 units to sell with the unit number nicely etched to the titanium back of the device. It features a durable titanium case, titanium logo, and for the first time in the smartphone manufacturing process, sensor keys made out of titanium.
As with most luxury handsets, if you have the money to purchase something like that, the specs should be the least of your worries but nonetheless if you’re curious, it features a 4.5” qHD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, has a 8MP rear camera with an odd 36GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support, and runs on Android 4.1.2.
