GOG.com is beginning the winter sale season by offering the first three Fallout games for free. Not to say that these games have been very expensive, but the option to obtain them without DRM makes it a solid choice. This is not the first time that GOG.com has offered Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics free of charge, although it may be the last.
Interplay is finally transferring the distribution license for the early games to Bethesda; who bought the entire Fallout license to make the excellent Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. GOG.com expects that they will no longer be allowed to offer the three original games by next year, and are going all out to make sure everyone gets a chance to play them.
The offer only lasts until tomorrow, 14 December 2013, so why not grab the titles and play some of the best CRPGs ever made.
