Since released in our market back in October, the ASUS Transformer T100 proved to be quite popular among consumers as the 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet seems to be out of stock throughout the country. ASUS Malaysia informed us that new stocks are heading to retailers throughout the country from this week onwards and should be starting to be available as we speak including at this weekend’s PIKOM PC Fair in KLCC.
However, the fresh stocks that consumers will see at retailers is a variant that is slightly different from the original model that ASUS Malaysia sold last month. In addition to the built-in 32GB internal storage that is located in the tablet portion of the device, this particular Transformer T100 variant also features a built-in 500GB hard drive inside its keyboard.

The rest of the specifications remain the same such as the Bay Trail-based Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013. With the addition of 500GB HDD into the product, the price of this particular Transformer T100 variant is also naturally higher at RM 1399.
Alongside the T100, the PIKOM PC Fair at KLCC this weekend will also see the debut of ASUS Fonepad Note 6 (finally) as well as the new 8GB variant for ASUS Fonepad 7. They are priced at RM 1399 and RM 749 respectively.
