Back in 2009, there was an epic LAN party called the CyberFusion that was held at Multimedia University in Cyberjaya. It was so epic that it still holds the record for the longest LAN party in the world as certified by the Guinness World Records. This year, CyberFusion will return once again although the event organizer don’t have any plan to break any records this time around.
Scheduled to take place on 27 to 29 December 2013 at MyCORE Cyberjaya, the registration for the event have already closed by the time we discovered it since there were only 100 spots available at this year’s edition of CyberFusion. That being said, there is an area which is reserved for PlayStation 4 and the community team that is responsible for this area are currently looking for fellow PS4 owners to come join in the fun.
For RM 60, participants will receive a t-shirt together with five meals per day throughout the event. Additionally, participants will also be provided with a DVI-based display, LAN cable, Internet connection and power sockets. Do note that you have to being your own PlayStation 4 console, PS4 games, DVI-HDMI converter (or your own display, if you prefer that way) and headset to the LAN party.
Since the event will take place just one week after the official release of PS4 in Malaysia, it sounds like a perfect place to game and mingle together with other PS4 owners. To learn more, just head on to the event’s thread at the PlayStation section of Lowyat.NET Forums or contact the coordinator directly by e-mail to zaynal78[AT]yahoo.com.
