Update: Looks like it isn’t the big reveal of the new iPad Air and Retina iPad Mini, but rather the relaunch of the Machines KLCC outlet. Bummer.
Malaysia’s largest premium reseller of Apple products, Machines, have released a teaser image hinting at a possible date of Apple’s latest iPads: the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display.
The tease image, posted on Machine’s official Facebook page, shows off some of Apple’s current products on a table, but the table is partially draped over, perhaps covering the new products coming our way. After all, the new iPhone 5s and 5c are already available in Malaysia, so it is highly likely that we may be seeing Apple’s new iPads making their way to our country very soon.
Machines also added a date and a venue for its teaser image, which suggests that its KLCC outlet may play host to the new iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display this Sunday, 24 November. Given that all three major telcos have already opened registration of interest (ROI) pages for the new iPads, it is likely that we will be seeing the new tablets in the country for the first time this weekend.
