Evernote has recently updated their Android app, bringing a whole host of new features including a better notebook picker, PDF annotation with markup summary, page camera improvements and the ability to customize your homescreen for Evernote Premium.
First up, the new improved Evernote for Android improves work flow with the introduction of a better notebook picker that makes switching between frequently used notebooks easier, placing most recent notebooks at the top of the list. Evernote Page Camera has also been enhanced for a faster and more accurate way of digitizing your handwritten notes, making text clearer and hence more searchable, so all your physical notes are filed away and easy to find.
Another notable improvement is the addition of a number of powerful annotation features from Skitch app directly into Evernote like adding shapes and texts to PDFs attached to notes. Evernote for Android is now able to generate a PDF Summary, so you can easily and quickly see important marked out sections of long reports, or important notations, all at a glance, a perfect feature for shared documents.
