Android 4.4 KitKat brings a whole host of changes from the design to the functionality, and one of the more impressive ones would definitely have to be this advanced photo editor that is powerful enough to process full-sized images directly from the device.
Located within the Gallery feature in Android KitKat, on top of the usual zooming, cropping, applying filter and such, the photo editor gives a more powerful controls like graduated filters, the ability to edit specific color or specific part of the image and more. These editing styles can be saved into pre-sets too to make editing faster and simpler for new images. The photo editor is non-destructive, which means that if you’re unhappy with the overall result, you can revert back to original with just a couple of taps.
It’s good to see Google putting its acquisition of Snapseed to good use, not only to improve Photos on Google+, but also to enhance things on the mobile side.
