The Huawei Ascend P6 has been around for a few months now and if you’ve been patiently waiting for a phone bundle for it, here it is, Maxis is offering the mid-range Android device from Huawei from as low as RM499. All you need to do is sign up for a 12 or a 24 months contract under one of the telco’s postpaid and mobile internet plan, and you can get the RM1,399 phone at a subsidized price.
Powered by the company’s very own K3V2 chipset that features a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, the Ascend P6 features a nice 4.7” display on a very slim design measuring at only 6.18mm thin. The device first made its appearance in a launch event in London as the world’s slimmest smartphone. It may be small but it still packs some pretty impressive specs under its hood like a decent 2,000mAh battery, 8MP f/2.0 rear camera, 5MP front facing camera, and runs on Android 4.2.2 with the company’s very own Emotion UI on board.
