Some users of the new iPhone 5s have reported receiving blue screen of death (BSOD) episodes. The oddity is not a one-off glitch, and can be replicated easily, as can be seen in the video above. Triggering a BSOD seems to be as simple as multitasking between several apps, before the device restarts itself.
It is as yet unclear what the issue here is, especially considering that BSOD episodes are more common on Microsoft Windows PCs, and appears to only affect users of the iPhone 5s and its new 64-bit A7 processor. Of course, at this point it is easy to make a tongue-in-cheek joke about the fact that the iPhone 5s has PC-like features, but Apple does not seem to have a quick fix for this. Some have found that disabling iCloud syncing for certain Apple apps (Pages, Keynote and Numbers) seem to alleviate the issue, but that is definitely not enough.
