As you might have heard, AMD have recently launched their brand new Radeon R7 and R9 series graphics cards…with the exception of R9 290 series, of course. Naturally, throngs of add-in-board partners have begun to release their own take on these new GPUs including the folks over at MSI.
Being a series that are targeted for mainstream market, all the Radeon R7 cards are currently positioned under MSI Classic series such as the MSI R7 240 OC with 2GB DDR3 RAM, MSI R7 250 OC with 1GB GDDR5 RAM and MSI R7 260 with 2GB GDDR5 RAM. Meanwhile, the Radeon R9 270, R9 270X and R9 280 are available under MSI Gaming series.
Not to forget, the Radeon R9 270X is also available under MSI Hawk series which put an emphasis on the ability to withstand overclocking. MSI R9 270X HAWK – Stay cooler
