Eve Online is probably the best MMORPG to read about. The stories of massive thousand player wars and intergalactic politics are occasionally more interesting than the real world. Playing the game is a whole different ball game.
As current players will know, the space simulation is extremely difficult to get into; and new players are often faced with a massive number of options and choices right out of the first space dock. Fortunately, CCP has come to realise that there needs to be at least a small amount of hand holding for the first few hours of gameplay.
Beginning today, Eve Online will have New Player Training Sessions to ease them into the game. Each session will run for about an hour, or two hours if a fleet is involved. The first theme, PVP, will run from 10 October until 19 November; with the first training session beginning on 15 October.
Anyone interested in trying the game out should head over to CCP’s website.
