Editing and creating videos is quite a time consuming process. Just ask Amirthevideoguy, our resident video editor. A new startup, Wochit, is planning on changing all that. The company’s software is capable of assembling clips, narration and images into a proper video.
Of course, humans are still needed in some parts of the the process. For checking the script before it’s narrated, and listening to the narration afterwards. Wochit claims that this reduces the time needed to produce videos to about 10 minutes, and allows them to create hundreds of clips a day.
Right now they are aiming their solution at web based clients. People who want quick videos which are friendly to advertisers. Of course, it won’t be the same as a video produced and edited by a real person. Yet.
