For those who have been following the progress of Battlefield 4, these particular demo shouldn’t be foreign to you. Called Angry Sea, it is part of the game’s single player campaign which was first shown to the world at E3 earlier this year during Microsoft’s press conference.
The brief gameplay demo depicted a number of elements that gamers are able to expect from the upcoming game including ability to change the landscape of the battlefield by blowing stuff up, naval combat and new cover combat system. Of course, not to forget about the ability of DICE’s Frostbite 3 game engine as well as AMD’s graphics hardware as the live demo that we captured above took place on stage at last week’s AMD GPU’14 Tech Day in Hawaii.
The event also saw the announcement of AMD Radeon R9 290X Battlefield 4 Edition and the Mantle API which showed the tight relationship that both companies have with each other. Battlefield 4 is scheduled to arrive in the market for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 29 October.
