The retail price for Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 3 smartphone will be set at RM2299. Multiple sources have confirmed to Lowyat.NET that the latest phablet from the Korean giants will actually be cheaper than the Galaxy S4 LTE at launch. Also, local e-commerce site Superbuy has also listed a similar price for the phablet.
Back in June, Samsung Malaysia released the LTE variant of the its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone at a staggering RM2499. As confirmed earlier in the week, the Galaxy Note 3 LTE will be the only variant of the phablet that will be released in Malaysia, instead of the two Galaxy S4 variants that were released earlier this year.
With a launch date that is only one week away, the competitive pricing could be a very powerful catalyst for the Note 3. As it is, the Galaxy Note series is already one of the country’s best-selling Samsung smartphones, as revealed by a Samsung executive.
We have reached out to a Samsung spokesperson about the leaked retail price, and will update the post when we receive a reply.
