It’s been quite some time since Google acquired Snapseed, a photo editing app for iOS and Android devices and it looks like the company is finally putting its purchase to good use – giving a Snapseed-alike photo editing tool in Google+. A few months back, Google already announced new features for Google+ Photos and this time round, it’s taking things a step further, giving you more control and “make your photos smile”.
The new tools include more control over Auto Enhance feature, allowing you to customize and fine tune the adjustments to your preference. The new editing tol also allow users to make selective adjustments, giving you the flexibility to adjust individual portions of an image like brightening up the sky while retaining the original ambiance on rest of the image. Google also added new filters like Vintage, Drama, Retrolux and Black and White for an Instagram-alike touch on your images.
To access these new features, all you need to do is open a photo on the web version of Google+ and hit the Edit option. The features are currently only available in Chrome.
