With the announcement for new iPhones, here comes the inevitable – price changes for previous generation device. While the iPhone 5 may have been removed from Apple’s Online Store worldwide, including Malaysia, the company has revised the price for its lowest end iPhone to date, the iPhone 4S for RM1,499.
It’s not a price drop per say, only 8GB versions will be available for purchase instead of the 16GB version; when the iPhone 5 was announced, Apple revised its online store to offer a 16GB iPhone 4S for RM1,799. It will be shipped with iOS 7 on board hence it explains the 7-10 business days it takes to be shipped. Meanwhile, while iPhone 5 may not be available from Apple directly, you should still be able to purchase it online via our local telcos – DiGi, Maxis and Celcom. All three telco are offering the iPhone 5 in their online store
