Love the Samsung Galaxy Note III but you’re hoping for a larger screen because 5.7” isn’t big enough of an asset for you? No problem, along with the Note III announcement at the on-going Samsung Unpacked event happening in Berlin, Germany, the company also unveiled the Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) that features the same design along with a faux leather back.
The Note 10.1 packs a 10” WQXGA Super clear LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Beneath the hood is a 1.9GHz Octa Core processor (for 3G / Wi-Fi only versions) / 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset (LTE Version) with 3GB of RAM, and most importantly of all, it will feature the new S Pen and all the new S Pen features such as Air Command, Scrapbook, Multi-Window enhancements and Pen Window found on the Galaxy Note III.
Specs wise, the Note 10.1 2014 Edition will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac support, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, has an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and a whopping 8,220mAh non-removable battery. There will be several different variants – Wi-Fi Only, Wi-Fi and 3G, and Wi-Fi and LTE with 16/32/64GB expandable storage options, and each combination will be available in either Jet Black or Classic White. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) will be available globally starting from Q3 2013.
