Remember that Legria Mini video camera that was introduced by Canon last month? It looks like Sony too has something similar to offer with the new HDR-MV1 Music Video Recorder, but instead of focusing on video bloggers, this Music Video Recorder, as its name suggests, is built with superb Full HD image quality and dynamic studio-quality sound designed and engineered specifically for musicians.
A perfect tool for struggling music artists, the USD$300 Music Video Recorder offers unparalleled audio that records CD-quality sound in uncompressed Linear PCM or internet-ready AAC. With a 120-degree X-Y stereo microphone on board, users can capture every detail of music performances from soloists and groups to orchestras and bands. Video wise, with back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor on board, and a wide-angle 120-degree lens, it can record every single moment in Full HD 1920 x 1090/30p.
Other features include Auto Lip Sync, 2.7” color LCD, built-in Wi-Fi with Sony PlayMemories Mobile app on board, and NFC connectivity for One Touch sharing. The device is scheduled to be launched this December.
