It looks like Huawei has just announced a new successor to its Honor 2 that was unveiled just last year – the Huawei Honor 3 that comes with a tougher build that is IP57-rated for dust and water resistance. Unveiled on Huawei’s website, the Honor 3 is a mid-range Android device with a very affordable price. The Honor 3 comes with a high-sensitivity touch display, allowing you to use the device even when your hands are wet, so you know, you can reject that call when you’re washing your phone.
Powered by the company’s very own K3V2 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, the Honor 3 is a 4.7” phone that packs a 13MP rear camera, 1MP front camera on board, with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. Other features include IR blaster remote control for your television and other compatible devices, Smart Capture camera, and enhanced night shot with 5 precision lenses.
As with all Huawei devices, the Honor 3 will be an affordable device with a price of 1,888 yuan; that’s below RM1,000. Unfortunately, the device is only available in China and Huawei made no mention as to whether it will be available outside its home country.
