Alright, enough rumors and leak about the budget iPhone 5C for now, today, reports are showing that Apple will be using a brand new processor for its next flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S. According to a Fox News reporter, Clayton Morris, he posted onto his Twitter account that sources have told him that Apple will be using an A7 chip:
“Sources are telling me the new iPhone’s A7 chip is running at about 31 per cent faster than A6. I’m hearing it’s very fast.”
9to5Mac also reports that Apple has been testing on a 64-bit processor technology and it could very well be the A7 chip. The 64-bit processing will assist the A7 chip in making animations, transparencies, as well as other iOS 7 graphical effects.
In a separate Tweet, Morris also said that the iPhone 5S’ camera will also feature something new: “I’ve also heard there’s a separate chip devoted to motion tracking. Should be an interesting camera upgrade.”
Last but not least, it looks like on top of the black, white and even champagne gold color options, Apple might throw in a gunmetal version as well. A grayish SIM tray of an iPhone has made its way to the internet and if it’s to be believed, Apple might have more color options for its customers.
Hit the break to check out the images, along with some freshly leaked high res pictures of the golden iPhone 5S that to nobody’s surprise, looks identical to the iPhone 5. Identical design as the iPhone 5 that features a “premium” aluminum finish, a fingerprint scanner, improved camera features with dual LED flash, will you get the iPhone 5S?
