Wish to travel to famous zoos around the world, but don’t have the time or money to do so? Google recently announced Street View for selected zoos around the world, giving you a virtual opportunity to catch some lions, tigers and yes, even pandas. You can now “travel” to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China to see some of those cute and fuzzy bears.
The new Street View feature will bring you to many zoos around the world including North America’s San Diego Zoo, as well as those in Houston, Atlanta and Chicago among others. You can also explore the Chapultepec Zoo in Mexico, and the Toronto Zoo and Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park in Ontario, Canada.
Other Zoos featured in Street View include Buin Zoo in Chile, Zoologico de Bauru in Brazil, Shou Shan Zoo in Taiwan, Asahiyama Zoo in Japan, Singapore Zoo, Taronga Zoo in Australia, Zoo Safari Park Stukenbrok and Tierpark Hagenbeck in Germany, and many, many more.
Of course, there’s nothing like seeing the animals on your own and snapping your own pictures, but hey, who can say no to some cute pandas? Visit Google Maps now to check out the new addition.
