Now that the Sony Honami camera phone is all but confirmed, make way for new rumors – the Sony Honami mini. Unlike other mini phones like Samsung and HTC, the Honami mini will come in a smaller dimension of, yes you guessed it, 4.3”, but still pack the same goodness the hood – Snapdragon 800, 20MP camera, and Sony G lens.
The Honami mini, codenamed Ray 3, will come with a smaller battery of 2,400mAh that is still pretty good; it’s bigger than the S4 mini and the One mini at least. Other specs include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. The Honami mini is expected to be announced together with the Xperia Honami in Sony’s pre-IFA event in Berlin on 4 September, and hopefully, concurrently in Malaysia as well.
As for the original Xperia Honami, sample images taken with the device have made their way to the worldwide web as well. According to the EXIF information on these images sourced from various places, the model number used is C6903 (Honami LTE) and are shot in 8MP, 16:9 mode with a camera aperture of f/2.0.
