Now that the world is expecting Samsung to announce the Galaxy Note III in its upcoming Unpack event early next month, here’s the inevitable price drop for current devices. The Samsung Galaxy Note II’s official retail price has been revised from RM1,999 to RM1,799 and it looks like DiGi too has lowered its phone bundle pricing, offering the 5.5” phablet from as low as RM669 when you sign up for a contract with its postpaid plans.
Available with DG SmartPlan 58/88/148, the bundle ties you up to a 24 months contract. If you have been a DiGi Postpaid subscriber for over 12 months, DiGi will waive the device Advance Payment that varies depending on the package you sign up for – do note though, Advance Payment is not the same as Upfront Payment. DiGi is also throwing in a free flip cover and a free Samsung Bluetooth headset.
