It feels like it was just yesterday where I finally downloaded iOS 7 beta 4 on my iPhone 4S that died shortly after my beta 3 update and now, Apple has just released beta 5. Available via an OTA update for existing iOS 7 users, the update brings a host of improvements and quite a bit of changes on the icons and more.
On top of the regular bug fixes and improvements, some of the notable changes include new icons in setting menu, bringing in more colors to the boring interface, the ability to disable Control Center while in apps, new “slide to power off” design, new in-call buttons, and the ability to pull down on a notification banner.
I must say the performance has improved quite a bit with these recent two beta versions, let’s hope iOS 7 Golden Master version is around the corner. iOS 7 is expected to be unveiled in new Apple devices that is scheduled to be unveiled on 18 September 2013 and launched on 27 September.
Stay tuned to find out more and for those who are running on iOS 7 now, do check for a much needed update.
