The LG G2 is scheduled to be announced on 7 August 2013 but it doesn’t mean you have to wait till then to get a hint of what the real device will look like. LG just announced its QuickWindow Case for the device, available in seven colors.
Unlike Samsung’s S View Cover that only has a tiny opening, the QuickWindow casing has a window-alike cutout on the front part, allowing you to have quick access to quite a number of things – view the clock, weather report, alarm, music player, imcoming phone call details and incoming text messages.
“LG’s newest premium accessory delivers practical and stylish options while protecting the smartphone, which for many consumers is a significant investment. Our smartphone designers have in mind the type of case they’d like to see on their designs. So it made a lot of sense for LG designers to share with our customers their vision of the perfect accessory.” — Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
It’s certainly strange for the accessories to be announced before the gadget arrives, I guess LG is just keeping the hype up before the official release of the LG G2. Only a little over a week more to go before the launch event. The casings will be available in black, white, pink, purple, blue, yellow and mint, and will be available simultaneously with the device launch.
