As promised (together with a lot of leaks in between), Nokia have finally unveiled their latest member of its Lumia Windows Phone 8 family called Lumia 625. Touted as an affordable 4G LTE device, it is equipped with a 4.7-inch 800×480 IPS super sensitive touch display that is covered with Gorilla Glass 2.
Built with semi-transparent removable shell, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM 8930 chipset which features a 1.2 GHz dual-core Krait CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. The Lumia 625 also comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage as well as the support for MicroSD card with capacity of up to 64GB.
In terms of photography, the Lumia 625 utilizes a 5-megapixels rear autofocus camera with a LED flash together with a front-facing VGA camera. Last but not least, a 2000mAh battery provides the juice for the device. Scheduled for release sometime in the third quarter of this year with a price tag of around RM 922 (EUR 220), consumers should be able to see it in stores very soon as Asia Pacific has been listed as one of the markets that will receive the new Lumia 625.
