Updated with sample images taken with the Nokia EOS along with leaked pictures of the device.
It looks like the time you’ve been waiting for is finally coming, this Thursday, Nokia will be taking the curtains off its camera phone, the Nokia EOS or Nokia Lumia 1020, but before that, take a look at what the Finnish company just introduced – a brand new website dedicated for photography.
Available at http://www.nokia.com/global/experience/photography/, the site invites you to “Dive into the world of photography”, with stories, tips and tricks, and a whole bunch of articles sourced from the internet, specially catered for photography. For now, the site features on Nokia’s 3 latest camera-centric models – Lumia 920, Lumia 925 and Lumia 928 but we’re pretty sure the 41MP Nokia EOS will be added in right after its debut that is scheduled for this Thursday.
In other Nokia EOS/Nokia Lumia 1020 news, live images of the device has recently been leaked, showing off three color variants – black, white and yellow. In the same leak shared by Windows Phone Central, the site also reports that the EOS will ship with optical image stabilization on board, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Finally, Joe Belfiore from Microsoft recently posted some snapshots into his Flickr account and according to the Exif information, it’s taken by none other than the Nokia Lumia 1020. Unfortunately though, instead of a 41MP resolution that we’ve been waiting for, the images have been cropped down to 3.7MP and 5MP image sizes with a wide aperture f/2.2 lens. Of course, the data could’ve been faked, but why would the Microsoft Windows Phone Manager do such a thing for his personal Flickr account?
Hit the break to check out the snapshots, are you excited to see what Nokia has got to offer?
